1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ChairCheck mobile application and website (together, the "Service"), operated by ChairCheck ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, submitting your phone number, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Use of the Service

ChairCheck provides appointment booking, client management, queue, and communication tools for barbers, salons, and their clients. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your account credentials secure, and to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

You are responsible for the accuracy of any phone number you submit and confirm you are the owner or authorized user of that number.

3. SMS / Text Messaging Terms of Service

By providing your mobile phone number and actively checking the SMS consent box on our consent/registration form, you give your express consent to receive text messages (SMS) from ChairCheck at that number. Entering your number and requesting a sign-in code only sends that one-time code and does not sign you up for other messages. See the full SMS opt-in flow. Consent is never pre-selected — you must actively opt in — and consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase or of using the Service.

• Program description: ChairCheck sends one-time passcodes (OTP) for login and phone verification, appointment confirmations and reminders, walk-in queue and wait-time alerts, and booking status updates.
• Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on your account activity and appointments.
• Cost: Message and data rates may apply.
• Opt-out: You can reply STOP to opt out at any time. After you send STOP, we send a single confirmation message and stop sending SMS messages to that number.
• Help: Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at support@chaircheck1.site.
• Carriers: Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

Some features require a paid subscription. Paid plans are billed through the applicable payment processor (for example, Stripe or Google Play Billing). Subscription fees, billing cycles, and renewal terms are shown at the point of purchase. You may cancel in accordance with the terms of the platform through which you subscribed.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose;
• Submit a phone number you do not own or are not authorized to use;
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service;
• Use the Service to send unsolicited or unauthorized messages.

6. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. ChairCheck is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including delayed or undelivered messages.

ChairCheck provides cosmetic beauty, style, and salon workflow tools. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
